Introducing the Kiwi Kit.
An adaptive cutting board at home in any kitchen.
Cooking should
be fun.
It can bring people together, relieve stress and make memories. Unfortunately, this is not always the case.
For many people with varying challenges such as mobility, amputation, or injury, cooking can be a frustrating experience.

"There's a few things which are a bit difficult, even with prosthetics. Particularly I've always enjoyed cooking. . . I've had to rely more [on] using things like graters and box choppers and food processors for slicing things now"
- Ben

Magnets had not yet been used in this space, a test of concept confirmed the technology was sound.

A test of Concept.
The Board
Compared to other adaptive solutions, this cutting board fits seamlessly into any kitchen environment. On its own, it is no different from the typical cutting board.

"Kiwi" Clamp
Named after the flightless bird it resembles, the Kiwi Clamp is a magnetically attached sliding clamp used to assist in holding food items to be cut.
Crescent Cradle
A simple yet effective solution to securing those round fruits and vegetables.
